Naatu Naatu, the Telugu track from the movie RRR, has won the Oscar for the Best Original Song. It has become a global sensation, inspiring millions of TikTok videos and dance challenges. This is the first time an Indian song has been nominated for and won an Oscar. The song was composed by MM Keeravaani and performed at the Oscars this year. The performance was introduced by Deepika Padukone, who called it a song with an “irresistibly catchy chorus, electrifying beats and killer dance moves.”

The joy at Naatu Naatu’s Oscar win was palpable on Twitter. People took to the platform to congratulate the RRR team. Virender Sehwag Tweeted – “Congratulations to the entire team of #RRR on bringing Indian Cinema glory. #Oscars2023”

Anand Mahindra, the Indian business magnate and billionaire, is well-known for his active presence on social media, particularly Twitter, where he shares his thoughts, opinions, and observations on a variety of topics, from business and entrepreneurship to social issues, culture, and sports.

He tweeted – Energy, optimism, partnership, winning against odds. #NaatuNaatu is not just a song: it’s a mini-epic movie. No wonder it had people everywhere rising to their feet. Even at the #Oscars I bow low to @ssrajamouli MM Keeravani & Chandrabose.

Our beloved Prime Minister, Naredra Modi Ji tweeted – Exceptional! The popularity of ‘Naatu Naatu’ is global. It will be a song that will be remembered for years to come.
